MISHAWAKA — The Race to Save Lives is set for Nov. 10 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka.
The race begins at 9 a.m. with onsite registration starting at 7 a.m. The event is a 10K, 5K and 1-mile walk to benefit the Suicide Prevention Center of St. Joseph County.
The Race to Save Lives is coinciding with Veteran’s Day weekend to help bring awareness to the alarming increase in suicides by America’s active military and veterans. Miller’s Veterans Color Guard will be featured. Funds raised from the race stay in the community to help further the work of the Suicide Prevention Center including presentations to local organizations and schools, training programs and a monthly support group for survivors of a suicide loss.
